BEHOLD, THE GLORIOUS COMPANY OF HEAVEN

Behold the glorious company of heaven, gathered around Christ the King.
Listen to the joyful songs of praises they sing.
Saints, Martyrs, and Prophets in one voice, bless his Name.
The Church on earth, his glad tidings proclaim.
See the company of the Redeemed wearing robes of white.
Robes washed in the blood of the Lamb and made dazzling bright.
The everlasting songs of heaven and earth are raised.
In the divine liturgy in heaven and on earth, Jesus Christ is praised.
The Church bows before the Lord in humble adoration.
Worshiping with thanks and praise, the God of salvation

CHRIST ASCENDS IN TRIUMPH

Christ ascends in triumph above.
Blessing his Church with hands of love.
Hear the choirs of angels sing.
Welcoming the eternal King.

He left his message to proclaim.
To go forth and preach in his name.
Telling the message of salvation and new birth.
Declaring peace to people on earth.

He is still with his people to bless.
Feeding them in the divine Eucharist.
Strengthening them through all strife.
And preparing them for eternal life.

Glory to him who overcame death and sin.
Bless him, whose reign will never end.
Let the praises be heard from every nation.
Great is the Lord, the God of salvation.

Jesus has opened heaven’s door.
His power shall last forevermore.
He sends his Spirit to guide.
With his people, he’ll abide.

Jesus shall return in bright array.
The Church awaits that glorious day.
Come, O Redeemer from sin.
Bring the glorious Kingdom without end.

JESUS, SAVIOR

Jesus Savior, we praise your name.
Lord, we praise your divine mercy.
From age to age you remain the same.
King through all eternity.
To you our songs of joy we raise.
Great are you, the God of all creation.
Receive our thanks and praise.
For the blessed gift of salvation.

You are the king of glory, O Christ.
Son of God, yet born of humble birth.
You shed your blood, offering a great sacrifice.
Redeeming all people on the earth.
Savior, you were raised from the grave.
Destroying death’s sharp sting.
You alone have power to save.
And you reign as our Lord and King.

In your Eucharist, you feed the soul.
And strengthen us by your grace.
By your Word and Sacrament, we are made whole.
Equipped and ready to run the earthly race.
The Holy Spirit guides us in this life.
Keeping us in your loving care.
He comforts us in times of pain and strife.
Giving us peace in times of despair.

Savior, you have opened heaven’s door.
And have given us victory over sin.
You abide with us forevermore.
Giving us peace that will never end.
We rejoice in your Gospel story.
Which tells us about the forgiveness of sin.
You are worthy of all glory.
We sing praises without end.

Guide your people each day.
Save us from the devil’s snares that surround us.
Strengthen us, O Lord, we pray.
Keep us in faith. Let nothing confound us.
Surround us with your peace and love.
Let us neither stumble nor fall away.
Take us to be with you in heaven above.
With the Saints, to shine in bright array.
