One glad day, I’ll see the King of Glory.
In heaven, I’ll rejoice and tell my story.
I shall see his loving face.
And praise him for his grace.

There will be no more sadness.
Only peace and lasting gladness.
I’ll join with the heavenly throng.
Sing heaven’s eternal song.

I’ll live forever in eternity.
What a great joy that’ll be.
There will no more fear.
Jesus will wipe away every tear.

I’ll lay my burdens down.
And claim my mansion and crown.
There will be sweet rest.
In Zion, the city of the blessed.
