Jesus, our foundation

Jesus! Our hope and foundation.
Everlasting source of grace.
From him comes salvation.
Love shines from his face.

Jesus! His mercy makes us whole.
And fills us with joy and gladness.
Granting rich healing for the soul.
Healing that banishes sadness.

Jesus! His presence shall never leave.
There is power in that name.
Strength of all who believe.
His goodness to all, proclaim.

Jesus! Hear our humble plea.
Forgive our sins.
Send down your mercy.
Grant us your peace without end.

Jesus! Hope of all who die.
Give them peace from strife.
Take them to live on high.
To share the bliss of eternal life.

Jesus! He has opened heaven’s door.
And offers blessed peace and rest.
We’ll live with him forevermore.
In Zion, the City of the Blessed.

Jesus! The Church’s songs are raised.
To him, the redeemed sing.
Jesus is worthy to be praised.
All honor to Jesus the King.

One glad day, I’ll see the King of Glory.
In heaven, I’ll rejoice and tell my story.
I shall see his loving face.
And praise him for his grace.

There will be no more sadness.
Only peace and lasting gladness.
I’ll join with the heavenly throng.
Sing heaven’s eternal song.

I’ll live forever in eternity.
What a great joy that’ll be.
There will no more fear.
Jesus will wipe away every tear.

I’ll lay my burdens down.
And claim my mansion and crown.
There will be sweet rest.
In Zion, the city of the blessed.

See the company of heaven gathered before the King.
Listen to the songs of praise they sing.
Saints, Martyrs, and Prophets bless his name.
His glory they gladly proclaim.
See the redeemed wearing robes of white.
Robes washed in the blood, dazzling bright.
The everlasting songs of victory are raised.
“May Jesus Christ be forever praised!”
The Church worships in adoration.
Giving honor to the God of salvation.

Behold the glorious company of heaven, gathered around Christ the King.
Listen to the joyful songs of praises they sing.
Saints, Martyrs, and Prophets in one voice, bless his Name.
The Church on earth, his glad tidings proclaim.
See the company of the Redeemed wearing robes of white.
Robes washed in the blood of the Lamb and made dazzling bright.
The everlasting songs of heaven and earth are raised.
In the divine liturgy in heaven and on earth, Jesus Christ is praised.
The Church bows before the Lord in humble adoration.
Worshiping with thanks and praise, the God of salvation

Jesus Savior, we praise your name.
Lord, we praise your divine mercy.
From age to age you remain the same.
King through all eternity.
To you our songs of joy we raise.
Great are you, the God of all creation.
Receive our thanks and praise.
For the blessed gift of salvation.

You are the king of glory, O Christ.
Son of God, yet born of humble birth.
You shed your blood, offering a great sacrifice.
Redeeming all people on the earth.
Savior, you were raised from the grave.
Destroying death’s sharp sting.
You alone have power to save.
And you reign as our Lord and King.

In your Eucharist, you feed the soul.
And strengthen us by your grace.
By your Word and Sacrament, we are made whole.
Equipped and ready to run the earthly race.
The Holy Spirit guides us in this life.
Keeping us in your loving care.
He comforts us in times of pain and strife.
Giving us peace in times of despair.

Savior, you have opened heaven’s door.
And have given us victory over sin.
You abide with us forevermore.
Giving us peace that will never end.
We rejoice in your Gospel story.
Which tells us about the forgiveness of sin.
You are worthy of all glory.
We sing praises without end.

Guide your people each day.
Save us from the devil’s snares that surround us.
Strengthen us, O Lord, we pray.
Keep us in faith. Let nothing confound us.
Surround us with your peace and love.
Let us neither stumble nor fall away.
Take us to be with you in heaven above.
With the Saints, to shine in bright array.

Sing joyfully to Jesus with heart and voice,
Come before him with gladness and rejoice.
Never forget how good he has been.
He has saved us from the curse of sin.

Sing joyfully to Jesus who overcame the grave
Blessed Jesus came to redeem and to save.
He protects us from all danger and harm
We are safe and secure in his mighty arm.

Sing joyfully to Jesus, he gives us a message to proclaim
His Holy Spirit empowers us to speak in his Name.
The Spirit gives us gifts to bring the Lord’s care
To those who suffer from sorrow and despair.

Sing joyfully to Jesus, Satan’s attacks will not prevail,
His effects against the faithful will fail.
His every effort will see defeat.
Jesus has crushed his head under his feet.

Sing joyfully to Jesus, the battle has been won.
Victory belongs to Jesus, God’s Son
Hold on to him and stand your ground
Be faithful and in heaven, you’ll wear a crown

Sing joyfully to Jesus, sing songs of victory,
Give Jesus all honor and glory
The Lord is just in all his ways
He is worthy of all thanks and praise.

A hymn of thanksgiving we joyfully sing,
Everlasting songs to our God and King
In our songs we’ll bless his mighty Name
With our voices his grace we’ll gladly proclaim.

All praise to Jesus the Son
Who with the Father and the Spirit is one
Praise God through all eternity
We sing the glory of the Holy Trinity.
